REHAU Bike Solutions

REHAU is an established development partner of brake manufacturers for bikes all around the world. We develop special hose solutions that satisfy the highest technical requirements for individual customers.

As a leading innovator in the bike brakes sector, we monitor the market carefully and base our product developments on current industry trends. For example, we are tackling increasing demands in terms of temperature and pressure resistance, changing installation conditions (as hose lines are increasingly located within the bike frame) and also measures to protect against vandalism.

Hydraulic hoses

Hydraulic hoses by REHAU ensure safety and good functionality in cargo bikes, city bikes or mountain bikes, as well as electric bikes. More than 20 million hydraulic brakes fitted with REHAU hoses are the proof.

We use standard or specialist raw materials, depending on the application. Our many years of materials expertise enable us to determine the perfect combination of raw material and yarn for the inner hose, reinforcement and outer layer.

With minimal volume expansion, our hoses therefore guarantee a unique brake feeling. We are also able to meet specific requirements in terms of surface quality, flexibility and resistance to temperature, UV, oil, weathering and pressure, as well as diffusion.

Protective sleeves & empty conduits

The product portfolio also includes protective sleeves and empty conduits. They are primarily used for the protection or routing of pipes in the bike.

Sleeves can be used to protect pipes like brake hoses from external factors (e.g. dirt, stone chips). This increases the service life, prevents wear and tear and therefore also improves safety.

Empty conduits enable easy, space-saving installation of pipes in the bike frame.
