Making it to the top:

REHAU is consistently committed to responsible business practices in all areas of the organization – with evident success.  For this commitment, the Group has now been awarded the gold medal for its sustainability management by the EcoVadis rating agency.

With a total score of 71 out of a possible 100 points, the REHAU Group has achieved gold status for the first time and is thus among the top 5% of all participating companies and the top 1% in the plastic processing industry.

Since 2007, the independent rating agency EcoVadis has been evaluating the sustainability performance of companies in the categories of environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. With 21 sustainability criteria, EcoVadis makes the activities of companies with international supply chains measurable and comparable in the area of sustainable practices, thus creating trust and transparency toward business partners. EcoVadis provides companies with holistic ratings in the area of corporate responsibility. Corporate Social Responsibility, in short CSR, stands for the social responsibility of companies in the sense of sustainable business. Large multinational companies work with EcoVadis to make the sustaiability of their global supply chains transparent and to improve it.
