Into the future with innovation, team spirit and a strong presence

REHAU and MEPA look back on a successful trade fair appearance at ISH 2025

10.04.2025

The joint trade fair motto “Next Level Unlocked – Boost your building solutions” was reflected in all areas of the REHAU Building Solutions and MEPA – Pauli und Menden GmbH booth at ISH 2025. The wide range of new products and system solutions impressed the numerous trade fair visitors and stimulated in-depth discussions. Visitors were encouraged to take their projects to the next level together with REHAU.

ISH 2025 took up the entire Frankfurt exhibition grounds to accommodate the 163,175 visitors from 150 countries and 2,183 exhibitors from 54 countries. As in past years, it cemented its position as the global trade fair for water, heat and air. The positive response from visitors and exhibitors speaks for itself: ISH is where the industry comes together to showcase and discuss the latest developments in heating, cooling, air conditioning and ventilation technology, intelligent building automation and sustainable bathroom design and installation technology.

Full commitment inspires visitors

REHAU was on site with a dedicated team to guide visitors through the product highlights. The sheer number of visitors at the booth reflected the level of interest in the solutions from REHAU and MEPA. Both companies were very satisfied with the high number of registered contacts. In addition to a virtual reality game, which particularly appealed to the young generation, and the “Scan & Win” activation campaign, which attracted several hundred participants, the tried-and-tested craftsman’s counter also proved very popular. This is not surprising, because in addition to representatives from industry and trade, the construction and housing sectors as well as designers, engineers and architects, 30 percent of the trade fair visitors were craftsmen.

Visitors were able to see the new generation of the RAUTOOL installation tool for themselves at the tried-and-tested craftsman’s counter.

At the press breakfast, Dr. Roger Schönborn, CEO Division Building Infrastructure Solutions REHAU, offered exclusive insights into current market developments and trends in the industry. The focus was on optimizing REHAU solutions in response to the major trends of water hygiene, energy-efficient heating/cooling solutions and district heating. “For us, sustainability is not a trend but the foundation for the future viability of REHAU Building Solutions,” emphasized Roger Schönborn. REHAU has been using recyclates as a raw material for a number of products since the 1990s. The company supports designers and architects by providing them with Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs). REHAU thus uniquely embodies the motto of ISH 2025: “Solutions for a sustainable future.”

Representatives from industry, trade, construction and the housing sector as well as experts from planning, engineering, architecture and trade used the trade fair to exchange ideas and build their networks.

Along the water and climate paths

The well-thought-out layout of the exhibition booth illustrated REHAU’s system thinking: visitors were able to explore the “water path” along green floor markings, while red markings led them through the “climate path.” This intuitive guidance provided structured access to products and experts. In addition to proven system solutions, innovative new products such as FASTLOC, RAUVIPEX, RE.GUARD 2.0, NEA room thermostats and RAUTHERM NEO Contact – which aroused particular interest among the visitors – were presented, along with new mounting plates, sealing sets and modular system solutions.

Stronger together

This was not the first time REHAU had a joint trade fair appearance with the sanitary technology company MEPA. For Christian Kuncz, Managing Director MEPA – Pauli und Menden GmbH and Chief Sales Officer (CSO) REHAU, it became clear once again how the two family-owned companies complement and strengthen each other: “At our joint booth, we were not only able to present tried-and-tested products and solutions, but also the latest technologies and sustainable concepts that will shape the bathroom and building technology of tomorrow.”

“Our modular solutions and cooperation with MEPA offer installers the opportunity to make their day-to-day work more efficient,” explains Roger Schönborn. “Modular construction is the top tier for us and is very popular with visitors.” Simple installation on the construction site and time-efficient configuration of the prefabricated modules help to provide sustainable support for trade businesses in view of the skills shortage.

Positive summary and outlook at REHAU

“The ISH in Frankfurt was a complete success for us. It was extremely inspiring to be able to fully engage and exchange ideas with national and international visitors in this marketplace. We had the opportunity to present our REHAU and MEPA ranges as well as numerous new products to a wide audience, and our highly motivated team had many exciting discussions which now give us a positive outlook for 2025,” summarizes Roger Schönborn.
