How can construction sites be made climate-neutral? REHAU shows it at IFAT 2024

IFAT is the world's leading trade fair for environmental technologies and the largest platform for water, sewage, waste and raw materials management. From May 13 to 17, 2024, system provider REHAU will be presenting future-oriented innovations and solutions and showing what sustainable wastewater and rainwater systems look like in partnership with construction customers.

A new solution for sustainable sewer construction is about to make its first major appearance. Local authorities and planners will learn how they can take a decisive step towards climate-neutral construction projects in a very practical way - and take their civil engineering projects to the next level. REHAU provides them with a key to a sustainably built future. Tested, proven and comprehensible. How can measurably better results be achieved? The secret will be revealed exclusively at the trade fair.

Sustainability has become an integral part of the construction industry. Modern construction projects make efficient use of resources, minimize environmental impact and create long-term solutions. REHAU supports local authorities, organizations and companies with comprehensive services from planning to project completion. Under the motto "From level to level - building the future together", tried and tested solutions and innovative new products will be on show. At the trade fair stand and in the show truck, visitors can find out how to take their projects to the next level.

The shaft-in-shaft modernization developed by REHAU offers a further lever. The process enables old shafts to be renovated in a short space of time. The new shafts are corrosion-resistant, resilient and designed for a service life of 100 years. The new manhole is based on scan data obtained using a high-resolution laser system. A "special 3D inspection" at the trade fair stand will show how it works.

Faster planning in 3D

Users can look forward to further developments in established solutions. The new version of the "RAUSIKKO NEO" software solution for planning and dimensioning rainwater management systems is even more powerful. The cloud-based software is data protection compliant and does not need to be installed on the local server or desktop - this saves storage space. The interface is also even more user-friendly and intuitive to use. The extra plus: the 3D configurator significantly simplifies and speeds up reliable planning.

A new development from the RAUSIKKO rainwater family is also at the start: the RAUSIKKO Box LT is a lightweight with strong arguments for use under green areas and in trough-trench systems. Also new is the Sedi-Shark, for increased cleaning performance with a smaller footprint.

The RAUSIKKO Box LT is a new solution in the RAUSIKKO rainwater family. This lightweight solution is ideal for use under green spaces and in swale drainage systems.

The AWACONNECT Flex+ pipe coupling from REHAU connects pipes of different sizes. Diameter and materials. The sealing sleeve has a movable middle section and the clamping band is quickly fitted without the need for special tools.

The new addition to the AWADOCK system is slim and efficient: with AWADOCK Slim DN 160, lateral connection to brick pull, concrete and liner renovated pipes is now also possible for smaller dimensions (DN 250 - DN 500). The installation principle is based on insertion instead of screwing in. The main sewer remains in operation during the quick and easy installation.

Another highlight is just a stone's throw away from the trade fair stand: the AWADOCK show truck for pipe connection systems is making a direct stop at IFAT. The mobile showroom clearly demonstrates how quickly and easily REHAU systems can be installed. Want some examples? The universal pipe coupling AWACONNECT Flex+ has been relaunched, with a movable middle section and the option of quick installation - without any special tools.
