EVERLOC+ showcases reliability during frigid Idaho installation

Located in Idaho’s prestigious Gozzer Ranch Golf & Lake Club, the private residence of professional golf coach Hank Haney overlooks Lake Coeur d’Alene, commanding picturesque views while holding its own amid the stunning scenery. When it came time to build the 4,200 sq. ft. home, it was no surprise that plumbers Jake Albertson and son Jake Albertson Jr. chose to install EVERLOC+. As the owners of Bighorn Plumbing and Heating, Inc., they have been using REHAU products for more than two decades. 

With the release of the EVERLOC+ compression sleeve fitting system, there was no doubt that it was right for this high-profile project. “Out here in Gozzer, Idaho – these are high-end customers; they expect the best,” Albertson said. “That’s why I’m happy to bring the REHAU product into this house.” 

When the fittings and sleeves arrived, temperatures were in the high teens, but Albertson was immediately confident that EVERLOC+ would provide the level of connection, control, and security required for this installation. As expected, EVERLOC+ withstood Mother Nature’s bitter temperatures with ease. “It’s easy to put the fittings together, even in cold weather. It’s cold out here today and the fittings are going together great – once you get them together, they’re together, they’re secure,” Albertson said.

The father-son duo not only praised EVERLOC+ for the system’s security and reliability, but also for its simplicity. “This product is really easy to figure out and to use,” confirmed Albertson Jr.
