REHAU announces the addition of the RAUVISIO carbon line, bringing to the REHAU metal surfaces collection a full spectrum of cool to warm tones. Featured alongside the existing RAUVISIO metal line, the new line adds depth to the collection and gives designers more surface options to satisfy current metal designs including the new mixed metals trend.
“Modern design trends are shifting away from complete coordination and matching toward the ‘compelling opposition’ of mixed metals designs that rely on a variety of textures and colors to bring a space to life,” said Jesse Collins, marketing manager for REHAU’s furniture solutions division. “For example, a dynamic contrast is created by choosing a cool metal primary base, such as a stainless steel refrigerator or cabinets, then adding several warn metal accents, such as brass or copper faucets and hardware,” said Collins.

The REHAU metal surfaces collection and custom cabinet doors allow designers to achieve a high-quality contemporary, industrial aesthetic. Combining a PET film with real metal, the RAUVISIO carbon line offers a spectrum of warm and cool tones from Champagne and Copper to Titan and Steel.
“With the renaissance of copper and brass, you can design a kitchen with a warm glow and vintage feel, while still maintaining modern minimalism,” said Collins. “Copper base cabinets can look very sophisticated when combined with neutrals such as super-matte beige upper cabinets and matte black fixtures.”
Offered in Brushed Stainless Steel and Natural Aluminum, the RAUVISIO metal line provides a cool metal feel with convincing cool-touch technology.
“Natural Aluminum provides a crisp, classic finish, while Brushed Stainless Steel offers a hint of texture that is currently very popular,” said Collins. “Both of these surfaces would serve as a great cool metal foundation in your quest for an appealing mixed metals design.”
RAUVISIO carbon and RAUVISIO metal lines are fingerprint, impact, heat, humidity and warp resistant, allowing them to withstand normal wear and tear and retain their shine for years. Both surfaces are offered as finished doors; RAUVISIO carbon is also available as pressed boards with matching REHAU edgeband.
