The Aviator Hotel in Kempton Park

REHAU Authorised Partner, Teva Windows, supplied double-glazed windows and doors to The Aviator Hotel in Kempton Park.

The uPVC windows and doors were specified due to their sound attenuating properties.  The hotel is in close proximity of the OR Tambo International Airport and the noise emanating from the airport disrupted guests in the rooms, as well as the conference section.

The hotel’s rooms were refurbished using double glazed top-hung casement windows with top and bottom lights, as well as double glazed entrance doors.

The newly built conference section was equipped with double glazed fixed windows and French doors. 

Due to the insulating properties of uPVC windows, fitted with double glazing, the sound of overhead aircraft is effectively cut out, resulting in higher comfort levels for the hotel’s guests.
