Ecovista, a REHAU Authorised Partner, was requested to replace existing wooden windows with uPVC windows in Durban, KZN.
The existing wooden windows were rotten and in a bad state of repair. The owner chose to replace them with REHAU uPVC windows, specifying that they have the cottage pane look. In total, Ecovista replaced 16 windows and 3 bay windows.
Hailing from the UK, the owner was already familiar with uPVC windows and chose them for their durability and low maintenance requirements. As the residence is situated in a humid, corrosive sea-air environment, the uPVC windows are the perfect choice. They will never rot or warp, nor need sanding, varnishing and painting!
The windows were also fitted with double glazing, increasing energy saving and sound reduction. REHAU uPVC windows have superior sealing characteristics to keep the dust and wind outside.
