Embassy of Brazil in Pretoria
REHAU Authorised Partner Moonstar recently manufactured and installed 78 uPVC windows and doors for the Embassy of Brazil in Pretoria. The customer required that the new uPVC windows match the style of the original timber sliding sash windows of the Cape Dutch style building.
REHAU's uPVC window system was specified for the Embassy's new and refurbished sections. A total of 39 vertical sliding windows, 8 French and residential doors, and 29 casement windows were installed. Apart from having to match the existing timber windows, the uPVC windows were double glazed in order to ensure energy cost savings. Fitted with espagnolette multipoint locking systems for increased safety, the uPVC windows and doors were also chosen as they require very little maintenance.
