Holiday Inn at OR Tambo International Airport fits noise reducing REHAU uPVC windows and doors double glazing for sound reduction and energy savings

The Holiday Inn is situated close to the OR Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg. REHAU uPVC windows and doors were specified to reduce outside noise and reduce energy consumption. 

Elitetec recently replaced outdated windows with modern REHAU uPVC windows and doors at the  Sunnyside Park Hotel.  The owner was impressed with the product performance and specified the same windows and doors for the upgrade at the Holiday Inn OR Tambo hotel.  Elitetec's good service and existing relationship with the owner was fundamental in securing this project. 

As the Holiday Inn is situated close to the flight path of the very busy airport, it was important to achieve maximum noise reducing qualities. For this reason double-glazing was used throughout the project.  

REHAU's uPVC window and door profiles achieve higher energy efficiency than traditional window systems, such as steel or aluminium. However, reflective glass was used to increase energy efficiency even more.
