Val de Vie falls within the Cape Floral Kingdom, a world heritage site. The developers have included a 70-hectare conservation area, 39 hectares of Fynbos and a 4-hectare natural grazing area which is home to Springboks, Zebra, Cape Grysbok and Bontebok.
