RAUPEX Crosslinked Polyethylene (PEXa) Pipe
From raw material to finished pipe, under one roof
At our plant in Cullman, Alabama we blend, extrude and test our proprietary formulation to create PEXa pipe. We make sure each foot of pipe that leaves the plant doesn't just meet industry standards, but exceeds them.
In order to give you extra piece of mind, every batch of pipe we produce is held until all quality controls tests have been completed to our satisfaction. RAUPEX pipe is built to hold up to a hard day on your job site, not just to pass tests in a laboratory.
RAUPEX® benefits
- Optimum strength
- Enhanced temperature and pressure capabilities
- Better flexibility than other types of PEX
- Tough to withstand jobsite conditions
- Uniform crosslinking
RAUPEX® O2 barrier pipe
RAUPEX O2 barrier PEXa pipe provides an extra layer of protection with its co-extruded ethylene-vinyl alcohol (EVOH) oxygen diffusion barrier, which limits oxygen permeability. The main component in the hydronic and radiant heating and cooling systems, this durable yet flexible PEXa pipe offers enhanced temperature/pressure capabilities and long-term strength.
RAUPEX® UV shield pipe
RAUPEX PEXa pipe with a best-in-class 12-month UV shield protection is the smart alternative to copper and other polymer piping materials.
RAUPEX provides proven durability while saving money on both materials and installation. It is flexible to navigate around crowded mechanical chases during construction. RAUPEX also maintains excellent long-term flow performance by resisting scale.

RAUGEOTM geoexchange pipe
RAUGEO brings the benefits of PEXa pipe to demanding geoexchange applications, providing superior resistance to impact, rock impingement and the stresses of earth movement. In addition, superior flexibility compared to HDPE means fewer fittings and a faster installation time.
RAUGEO PEXa pipe is recognized by the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association's (IGSHPA) Design and Installation Standards guide as an accepted piping system for ground loop heat exchangers and meets the standards of CSA 448.
